40 weeks

DIf you were to ask me this whole pregnancy of when I thought our baby girl would decide to make her appearance... I was almost 99% sure she was coming early. My mom had me and my sister 10 days early, and both of my brothers 3 weeks early! Now I look back at that and think someone has a sense of humor.

Here I am. Full term. And my due date is tomorrow. And what's even worse is 2 days ago at my last check up, I was only dilated to a 2! This girl is in no way in a hurry to get here. (I keep saying she's stubborn like her daddy;)

With her being this late I have got everything done that I've needed too, and now I'm almost to the point of "boredom" trying to keep busy knowing she could come at anytime. I have deep cleaned the whole house, got the crib and dresser painted, my hair colored, pedicure done, and now just anxiously awaiting our new avrival!

We had a little hiccup this last Sunday, I was throwing up and diarerrah (tmi) all afternoon and was worried about dehydration and our little girl. We decided to go in and "better to be safe than sorry" little babe looked great and everything turned out fine, they said it was just my body cleaning itself out getting ready for her to come and to just keep drinking and rest. I'm glad that's over with that's for sure.

Baby girl we are sooooo beyond excited to meet you! Please make your appearance here quick. There are so many here that already love you and just want to snuggle and kiss you (me and your daddy especially:) we are so ready for this family of 2 to become 3 :)

35 weeks

35 weeks and I'm only slightly freaking out...

Who am I kidding? I am majorly freaking out!

This whole pregnancy has just flown by.. And baby girl could be here anytime.

How big is baby: 19-22 inches long.. And 5 1/2 pounds, or atleast somewhere around that :)

Symptoms: HEARTBURN!! But really would be expect any differently? Nope. And backpain. Sore boobs.. Hot all the time... Guys it's really fun :)

Baby Movement: constantly and I love every minute of it. Expect when it's right in the ribs ;)

Sleeping: remind me what this sleep thing is again?

Baby Showers: I've had one from Grandma Hoggan, it was for both sides of my family so we had both the Hoggans and Turners/Klevens. It was so fun catching up with everyone and visiting :) thanks to everyone who came! I now have two more showers this week! Can't wait!

Things I'm looking forward to: getting our maternity pictures back! Kyler was such a champ this last week when we took them, even if it wasn't his most favorite thing in the world.. He still did it:)

Am I ready for this? Um... Nope :) but Kyler keeps reassuring me we are. I just love him:)

30 week bumpdate

I woke up this morning and almost had a heart attack. I hit 30 weeks today which means I have only 10 (if that) weeks left before this baby gets here!

All the sudden these questions ran into my mind... Am I ready for this? Why is this pregnancy flying by so fast? Oh no I haven't even started the nursery! What else do me and Ky need to do before it's not just the two of us anymore? And blah blah blah. Truth is, 10 weeks really doesn't seem that long to me and I really want to try and enjoy these last few months before baby gets here.

How big is baby: 17 inches long, and just over 3 pounds.

Symptoms: heartburn... But what else is new. And this back pain keeps getting worse and worse the bigger she gets:) also... The dreaded stretch marks have made their appearance! I have decided to call them my beauty marks though:) honestly they don't bother me all that much.

Baby movement: constantly! And more in my right side ribcage. Makes for a super uncomfortable momma. Also funny moment from today.. Meghan Trainers song "No" came on in the car today while I was running my errands, and little girl started kicking right to the beat! I kinda made a joke out loud.. "So you want your name to be No?" After the lyrics go "my name is no..." And she just stopped kicking. Like Hello mom. No I don't want my name to be No! I like to think she just liked the song, which is good because I do too, which means she has excellent taste.

Sleeping: seriously a hit and miss. About every third night I realllllllly get a good night sleep and Kyler always tells me he knows because I end up snoring the whole night. Sorry honey! I have to enjoy it while I can! And I truly believe I would sleep better if I didn't have to get up every 2 hours to pee!

New things for baby: Grandma Hoggan (my mom) went to St. George a few weeks ago and came home with darling clothes,  a hat, and cute little moccasins for baby. Grandma Webb (kylers mom) has also been shopping lots, safe to say these grandmas are very excited for a grand baby! I also had extra fabric from the car seat cover I made her, and decided to make the CUTEST leggings for her. They turned out sooooo cute! Also Sister Burton from my temple shift made baby the cutessssst blanket that she crochet herself.

Things I'm NOT looking forward to: being more uncomfortable, the hotness of summer, and leaving all my friends from the Temple. I only have 4 more weeks until they are kicking me out! And yes I completely understand.. I have absolutely loved working in the temple with Ky. Luckily he gets to stay :)

Things I AM looking forward to: my first Mother's Day, Kylers graduation from college on Saturday (finally!) and getting our new car! We just bought a Chevy Aveo, and let's just say I look dang cute driving it:)

Life is good and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Third Trimester/27 week bumpdate

This pregnancy is going by so fast for me and I can't believe we only have one trimester left. One thing is for sure, I am trying to enjoy every last minute especially the last few months that it's just me and Ky.

How big is baby: as big as a cucumber! 15 inches long and just over 2 pounds.

Symptoms: guys... The heartburn just might kill me. It doesn't seem to be getting any better but it's all worth it in the end right? :) also back pain here and there.

Baby movement: lots! I'm feeling her kick and move constantly every day and absolutely love it. Also Kyler and my sister Heather have felt her move now which is super fun:)

Sleeping: still good... Other than the fact of getting up 3-4 times in the night to pee! Haha

Things little girl has received: our bestest friend Jessica has once again been so generous and has given us diapers, and some other fun baby stuff. She's gotten lots of new baby clothes! One of which daddy picked out in Disneyland. I got a steal of a deal on a Petunia Picklebottom Diaper bag! $25 dollars on Cache Valley Classifieds and you better believe I did a happy dance:) one last thing, I found the cutest fabric at my most favorite place in the whole wide world.. Hobby lobby! And decided to make a darling car seat cover that might I add... Goes great with the diaper bag:)

Little girl we are so excited to meet you!

California Babymoon

We needed to make sure we had one last trip in before baby girl gets here, so we decided to join along with my sister on her senior trip (thanks Heather!)

We ended up spending 3 days total in Disneyland, it was Kylers first time there so I couldn't wait to show him the magic! We had an amazing time and Minnie Mouse loved my "Minnie Me" shirt. All thought I couldn't go on the big roller coasters being 6 months pregnant I was able to ride everything else... The Ferris wheel, Soarin' over California, Pirates, It's a small world, and lots of others just to name a few. We loved the parades and firework shows as well. Disneyland always has a special place in my heart and We can't wait to take baby girl back.

Some other things we did out in California was go to the Ronald Regan Presidental Libray which was way neat! Got to go to a taping of Wheel of Fortune and Americas got Talent. Go to the Los Angles Temple and do sealings, go to the Santa Monica Pier, and made it to an opening day baseball game for the Angels and the Cubs. We really had a great time and I'm so grateful to have such an amazing husband who helped plan most of this trip, was patient with 6 1/2 ladies for one week, and who let me have some things that I wanted to do even though I know it wasn't his favorite. He even celebrated his 25th birthday in Disneyland and if you know him... That's saying a lot:) I sure do love you Kyler James! Can't believe the next trip we take we will have a little tag-a-long :)

23 weeks

23 weeks and I can hardly believe how fast time is flying. Seems like just yesterday we found out the gender of our sweet baby girl. Lots of things have been changing.. The biggest of which is my belly:)

How big is baby: as big as a papaya! 8 inches long and about 1.2 pounds.

Weight gain: I know there's some... None of my clothes are fitting me anymore! 😭

Symptoms: that darn heartburn doesn't seem to want to go away anytime soon.. And just in this last week I've been having some back pain. But other than that mommy feels great!

Fun things: I am feeling baby move more and more now, especially at night/evening time is when she seems to be the most active. I love feeling her move!

Sleeping: great! Doctor Craig says I have about 2 more months of that then... Hardly any sleep for quite a few years ;)

Food cravings: none.. Except Easter candy sounds really good right about now...

What I'm looking forward to: we leave for St. George tomorrow for a baseball tournement and in two weeks for California! So I am really getting excited for that:)
