15 Weeks

i really want to document this pregnancy and will continue to do so on this blog. I want to remember the good, the bad, and the ugly... I just want to remember everything:)

How far along: 15 weeks

How big is baby: the size of an orange

Weight gain: lottttts of bloating at first but now I am starting to really show, I also bought my first pair of maternity pants at Ross for $8 and let me tell you.. Those things are the comfiest things I have ever worn!

Symptoms: not really any now that the morning suckness (yes I put suckness instead of sickness because it really did SUCK!) is over with, can you say thank you 2nd trimester?! Some things still make me a little queezy... But I just take it slow and try to distract myself while eating, like watching tv. That way I'm not focusing on how gross it tastes or the texture feels.. And I end up doing just fine. And no I haven't felt the baby move yet:)

Sleeping: depends on the night really... I'm not used to this getting up 3-4 times in the night to pee thing. We do have this amazing baby pillow I love that my friend BrookeAnn is letting me borrow but sometimes Kyler feels like there are three of us in bed if I use it:) I do still get exhausted during the day and do take naps here and there.

Food cravings: I don't think I really have cravings... But we will be at the grocery store and I'm like mmmmhh peach-o's sound so good right now so we get them. We told our home teachers this and the next day they showed up with a package just for me:) I really do love our ward!

Gender: we find out February 19th and are counting down the days! Kyler thinks it's a boy.. And I truly don't know I don't feel one way or another, but I try to keep his options open with a girl :)

What the baby has gotten so far: with this being the first grandchild on both sides this little guy is pretty spoiled already! So far we have a car seat, stroller, cute little tuxedo onzie from grandma sherry, a bib from aunt Jen, a darling kangaroo onzie from our friends in Australia, a bear stuffed animal from my moms cute friend and on Sunday our friends that just had a baby in October gave us some diapers their little guy has grown out of. The collection is quickly adding up:)

What I'm looking forward to: the belly continuing to grow! And also finding out if it's a girl or boy.. Then I can really start getting excited. Also looking forward to kylers reaction when we find out the gender at the doctors:) oh and also the gender reveal party! So much to look forward to:)

Baby Webb

We have some exciting news around here at the webb home and we just can't contain it any longer! We are happy to announce that we will be welcoming a sweet little baby in July of this year. We couldn't be more thrilled about this and are so excited for this new chapter in our lives.

It all started back at the end of October/ early November when I was for sure I had caught the flu, but after weeks and weeks of not feeling good, and wondering why kyler was never catching this awful sickeness... It dawned on me and that's when I took not one.. Not two... But three pregnancy test (just to be sure;) and we were three for three.

So that was exciting and surprising! We had actually been trying for a year so this was so fun to finally be pregnant. At about 5-6 weeks on a Tuesday morning we woke up at our usual 5:00am to work in the Logan temple and while at the temple I started to bleed.. And yes I panicked. Nobody has known of the pregnancy except me and kyler and we were both so new at this I had no idea what my body was doing. After our temple shift I called my doctor (who we hadn't even been in to see yet) and she told me it was to early to hear a heart beat but I could come in and take some blood tests to see if my HCG had gone up. So that was an adventure waiting those three days for results not knowing if we had miscarried or not. We ended up getting a call back and everything was just fine! Hooray! So on December 10th we had our first appointed with our wonderful Doctor Kristin Craig who immediately found our little bean on the ultrasound and hearing the heartbeat was so emotional for both me and Ky, a moment I will never forget.  So now... Fast forward to Christmas Day...

We had spent the Christmas Eve at my parents house and let's just say I didn't sleep very well.. The excitement of telling our families was just better than the actual Christmas:) we woke up and waited till all the gifts had been open.. Then pulled out the gifts we had made. You should have seen the look on my mom, dad, grandma and siblings faces. It was priceless and many many tears came from everybody. Then we hurried and go to Kyler's parents for breakfast and did the exact same thing. Waited till all the gifts had been opened... And saved the very best gift for last:) the reaction the exact same! Needless to say it was the best Christmas ever:) me and Kyler ended up making Christmas ornaments with the ultrasound picture inside the ornament so our parents can always have it to hang on the tree. I should also mention this is the first grandchild on both sides so that makes its even more exciting:)

And how we announced to everyone else..

This Christmas was the best one yet but I have a feeling next year will be even better with a little one to have around!
