California Babymoon

We needed to make sure we had one last trip in before baby girl gets here, so we decided to join along with my sister on her senior trip (thanks Heather!)

We ended up spending 3 days total in Disneyland, it was Kylers first time there so I couldn't wait to show him the magic! We had an amazing time and Minnie Mouse loved my "Minnie Me" shirt. All thought I couldn't go on the big roller coasters being 6 months pregnant I was able to ride everything else... The Ferris wheel, Soarin' over California, Pirates, It's a small world, and lots of others just to name a few. We loved the parades and firework shows as well. Disneyland always has a special place in my heart and We can't wait to take baby girl back.

Some other things we did out in California was go to the Ronald Regan Presidental Libray which was way neat! Got to go to a taping of Wheel of Fortune and Americas got Talent. Go to the Los Angles Temple and do sealings, go to the Santa Monica Pier, and made it to an opening day baseball game for the Angels and the Cubs. We really had a great time and I'm so grateful to have such an amazing husband who helped plan most of this trip, was patient with 6 1/2 ladies for one week, and who let me have some things that I wanted to do even though I know it wasn't his favorite. He even celebrated his 25th birthday in Disneyland and if you know him... That's saying a lot:) I sure do love you Kyler James! Can't believe the next trip we take we will have a little tag-a-long :)

23 weeks

23 weeks and I can hardly believe how fast time is flying. Seems like just yesterday we found out the gender of our sweet baby girl. Lots of things have been changing.. The biggest of which is my belly:)

How big is baby: as big as a papaya! 8 inches long and about 1.2 pounds.

Weight gain: I know there's some... None of my clothes are fitting me anymore! 😭

Symptoms: that darn heartburn doesn't seem to want to go away anytime soon.. And just in this last week I've been having some back pain. But other than that mommy feels great!

Fun things: I am feeling baby move more and more now, especially at night/evening time is when she seems to be the most active. I love feeling her move!

Sleeping: great! Doctor Craig says I have about 2 more months of that then... Hardly any sleep for quite a few years ;)

Food cravings: none.. Except Easter candy sounds really good right about now...

What I'm looking forward to: we leave for St. George tomorrow for a baseball tournement and in two weeks for California! So I am really getting excited for that:)

Halfway there

We made it 20 weeks and I don't know if I want to cry or celebrate. This whole pregnancy is going by so fast and I'm trying to enjoy every little second.

How big is baby: as big as a mango, and at our appointment Friday she was 10oz which is right where she is supposed to be:)

Weight gain: surprisingly Dr. Craig said I hadn't gained any from my last visit so hooray!

Symptoms: the heartburn is not getting any better, and I'm sure kyler is just sick of me complaining about how awful it is! Any thing and everything gives me heartburn and tums are my best friend right now.

Fun things: now that baby can hear me I am loving reading my scriptures out loud so that she can hear too :)

Sleeping: fantastic! I still get those crazy dreams every other night.

Food cravings: really I haven't come across a craving that "I need or I'm going to die!" I have feelings that things sound good to eat but I'm perfectly fine if I don't eat it. No not really any cravings.

Gender: pink pink girl! It's so nice to finally know now:)

What the baby has gotten so far: little girl is spoiled so much already and I am beyond grateful for everyone's kind and generous gifts! My cousin Jessica got her the most darling outfit, binkies, bottles, and blanket, we have received diapers from both Grandma Webb and Grandma Hoggan, I also went through all my baby stuff with my mom a few days ago and brought home some darling church dresses I used to wear plus my baby blessing dress that our sweet little one will also wear.

What mommy has gotten so far: my sweet mom and sister got me a darling Alex and Ani bracelet with a pink charm of a stork to represent me as mommy, my sister got an "aunt" one and my mom a "grandma" one so we all three match. I love it!

What I'm looking forward to: feeling our sweet little baby more and more, the placenta is in the front of my tummy which is why I haven't been able to feel to much going on unless I'm consciously paying attention. The other day while driving in the car Maroon 5 "Sugar" came on so obviously kyler turned it up and I felt little baby dancing (okay probably not dancing but moment:) she must like that song as much as her mommy and daddy. I'm also looking forward to spring coming, the weather has been fantastic this week and I'm eager to get outside and go on walks again. Bring on the sunshine!

Pink or blue

We found out the gender of baby webb on February 19th at 8:00 in the morning, and let's just say baby takes after me in the fact that it was stubborn and didn't want to move much that early in the morning.

The baby's legs were crossed and it didn't plan on budging anytime soon, I was so worried we wouldn't find out the gender that day and I didn't want to leave disappointed!

Finally the big moment happened! After much nudging and verbal encouragement.. The legs uncrossed!

And we had ourselves a baby...

Girl!! Tears just started flowing and I was so relieved to know. I had felt all along we had a little girl in there but didn't dare say anything to anyone except Ky, plus I had a dream a few weeks earlier about having a little girl. We are so excited for this little one to be in our family and now all the fun PINK stuff begins :)

And to add to the cuteness this was the text I got from Ky later that day, he keeps calling her his little princess and I can already see the love he has for her and it makes my momma heart just thump.

18 weeks + Valentine's Day

V

The time is just flying and I can't believe we are almost half way there!

How far along: 18 weeks and 2 days

How big is baby: size of a sweet patato, 5.5 inches and 5 oz

Weight gain: not much in the past few weeks thank goodness

Symptoms: heart burnnnnn! I keep telling myself it's because of Valentine's Day. Get it? :)

Sleeping: honestly if I could.. I would sleep all day:( which takes me to this...

But really? It's true.

Food cravings: valentines candy and chocolate.. Um. I'm also loving dr. Pepper again.. And not so much Diet Coke. I know I'm crazy!

Gender: we find out next week!! We are so excited!

I also need to add that Valentine's Day was the first time I actually felt little baby kick! It was so sweet laying in bed that night and to finally feel something, I like to think it's the baby's way of saying "love you mom! Happy first Valentine's Day!"

15 Weeks

i really want to document this pregnancy and will continue to do so on this blog. I want to remember the good, the bad, and the ugly... I just want to remember everything:)

How far along: 15 weeks

How big is baby: the size of an orange

Weight gain: lottttts of bloating at first but now I am starting to really show, I also bought my first pair of maternity pants at Ross for $8 and let me tell you.. Those things are the comfiest things I have ever worn!

Symptoms: not really any now that the morning suckness (yes I put suckness instead of sickness because it really did SUCK!) is over with, can you say thank you 2nd trimester?! Some things still make me a little queezy... But I just take it slow and try to distract myself while eating, like watching tv. That way I'm not focusing on how gross it tastes or the texture feels.. And I end up doing just fine. And no I haven't felt the baby move yet:)

Sleeping: depends on the night really... I'm not used to this getting up 3-4 times in the night to pee thing. We do have this amazing baby pillow I love that my friend BrookeAnn is letting me borrow but sometimes Kyler feels like there are three of us in bed if I use it:) I do still get exhausted during the day and do take naps here and there.

Food cravings: I don't think I really have cravings... But we will be at the grocery store and I'm like mmmmhh peach-o's sound so good right now so we get them. We told our home teachers this and the next day they showed up with a package just for me:) I really do love our ward!

Gender: we find out February 19th and are counting down the days! Kyler thinks it's a boy.. And I truly don't know I don't feel one way or another, but I try to keep his options open with a girl :)

What the baby has gotten so far: with this being the first grandchild on both sides this little guy is pretty spoiled already! So far we have a car seat, stroller, cute little tuxedo onzie from grandma sherry, a bib from aunt Jen, a darling kangaroo onzie from our friends in Australia, a bear stuffed animal from my moms cute friend and on Sunday our friends that just had a baby in October gave us some diapers their little guy has grown out of. The collection is quickly adding up:)

What I'm looking forward to: the belly continuing to grow! And also finding out if it's a girl or boy.. Then I can really start getting excited. Also looking forward to kylers reaction when we find out the gender at the doctors:) oh and also the gender reveal party! So much to look forward to:)

Baby Webb

We have some exciting news around here at the webb home and we just can't contain it any longer! We are happy to announce that we will be welcoming a sweet little baby in July of this year. We couldn't be more thrilled about this and are so excited for this new chapter in our lives.

It all started back at the end of October/ early November when I was for sure I had caught the flu, but after weeks and weeks of not feeling good, and wondering why kyler was never catching this awful sickeness... It dawned on me and that's when I took not one.. Not two... But three pregnancy test (just to be sure;) and we were three for three.

So that was exciting and surprising! We had actually been trying for a year so this was so fun to finally be pregnant. At about 5-6 weeks on a Tuesday morning we woke up at our usual 5:00am to work in the Logan temple and while at the temple I started to bleed.. And yes I panicked. Nobody has known of the pregnancy except me and kyler and we were both so new at this I had no idea what my body was doing. After our temple shift I called my doctor (who we hadn't even been in to see yet) and she told me it was to early to hear a heart beat but I could come in and take some blood tests to see if my HCG had gone up. So that was an adventure waiting those three days for results not knowing if we had miscarried or not. We ended up getting a call back and everything was just fine! Hooray! So on December 10th we had our first appointed with our wonderful Doctor Kristin Craig who immediately found our little bean on the ultrasound and hearing the heartbeat was so emotional for both me and Ky, a moment I will never forget.  So now... Fast forward to Christmas Day...

We had spent the Christmas Eve at my parents house and let's just say I didn't sleep very well.. The excitement of telling our families was just better than the actual Christmas:) we woke up and waited till all the gifts had been open.. Then pulled out the gifts we had made. You should have seen the look on my mom, dad, grandma and siblings faces. It was priceless and many many tears came from everybody. Then we hurried and go to Kyler's parents for breakfast and did the exact same thing. Waited till all the gifts had been opened... And saved the very best gift for last:) the reaction the exact same! Needless to say it was the best Christmas ever:) me and Kyler ended up making Christmas ornaments with the ultrasound picture inside the ornament so our parents can always have it to hang on the tree. I should also mention this is the first grandchild on both sides so that makes its even more exciting:)

And how we announced to everyone else..

This Christmas was the best one yet but I have a feeling next year will be even better with a little one to have around!
